Xavier Gallardo Rodríguez is Senior Industrial Engineer, post-graduated in Business Administration Management at  the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Master in Innovation Management of SMEs at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), PhD in Technological Innovation in Product and Process Engineering, within a PhD programme shared by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universitat de Girona ,and the Universitat Jaume I from Castelló (UPC-UdG-UJI), and Director of the Master in Industrial Business Administration in a private school part of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (EUSS-UAB).      

     
His career has been linked for over fifteen years to management and leadership positions mainly in industrial companies and covering  different areas (R&D, Innovation, Technical, Projects, Purchasing, After Sales,...).

He currently combines his professional career as consultant on

• Organization and structure of industrial investments projects, 
• Knowledge & Innovation management, 
• Technological development,

with other activities like research in several fields such as 

• Information and Knowledge Management, 
• Competitive Intelligence and Technological Surveillance,
• Innovation Management, 

and education 

• Teaching Business Administration and Production Organisation to Industrial Engineers,
• Direction of the Official (European Higher Education Area (EHEA) - Bologna Process) Master in Industrial Business Administration.
